T34 in Bethune

No I only managed to get to War and Peace and Bethune. As you can see from the pic the tracks still had a deal of Beltring mud in them. When I left the town centre in Bethune I got the tank up into third gear and left most of it behind.Bethune is a great event so unlike shows here,it never fails to amaze me of the Gaulic lack of attention to health and safety

Lovely T34, I had a look around it a W&P.

About 15-18 years ago I was at a classic car show in the Midlands and watched a chap load a T34/76 onto a low loader, I've not seen one before or since in the UK. Is there still a running /76 on these shores?

Nice tank John do you have the factory type?

Jack

Nice John and we had one in the convoy in Mons this year. Amazing how low their profile is against a Sherman.

The western ally tank it should realy be compared with is the A34 Comet, both tanks are the final type of a divergent line reaching back to the M1931 Christie tank, and in many ways are pretty similar.
