  2. Scum is everywhere! Thieves took almost my complete collection , among it , several (neutralised) weapons , such as : -----MG 42 -----MG 13 -----MP 40 -----M 1 carabine -----M 3 "Grease Gun" -----M 9 A 1 "Bazooka" -----BRENGUN ----- ----- ........ (list has been posted)
  3. a true shame that this could happen we simply must accept that certain people haven't got any intrest in history , no preservation , nor conservation for them. very very sad !!:cry:
  4. went with our demo team , found some nice things for our ongoing projects , made other people happy with stuff as well , in short , we all had a wonderfull day , even when we had about 1000 km driving to do:nut:

  12. Hi Jean , Welcome on the forum , we have a strong band with the Canadians , being our liberators (N W of Belgium) , and our annual Canadian ceremonies on one of the biggest War Cemeteries of the country, We even have our own "Canadian Museum"
  13. German army confiscated almost every vehicle they could lay their hands on , also the Belgian heavy artillery tractors "Brossel". After taking it here in Belgium , one of the tractors were send to the Eastern front , where the machine was very useful for the German invaders. The story goes , the German commander send a letter to the Brossel factory , to say thank you for the superb tractors. One of the tractors is in the Artillery Museum in Brasschaat , near Antwerp, where it is going to be restored.
  14. nice find , I too would like to see her 'after cleaning up ' , amazed that these relics still turne up . I heard from a friend , who's father is active in river works , he found 3 German trucks , fully loaded with gear , weapons , ammo , on the Polish - Russian border . Authorities confiscated it all , because of patriotic value. Sorry , no pictures available
