  1. I saw a green and white SWB a few years ago in Orpington, well I say SAW it. Even in the height of summer with bright sunshine , the camo was bloody effective!
  2. I did read somewhere 5, 000, 000 Jerry cans were allocated to the Normandy invasion. However by the time it came to the crossing of the Rhine, only 3,000, 000 could be found.
  3. Yep! the same as the Headcorn one. It's the built up sides that made it so memorable.
  4. There was a halftrack with a jib down at Headcorn Airfeild for many years. Anyone know what happned to it?
  5. Do the wipers have the switch built into the motor? If so, you need an earth for each motor, from casing to windscreen mount, then a power wire from each one down to the fuse box, or an in line fuse to a live terminal. If they don't have the switch, then earth as before then a switch in circuit.

  10. If I new now! Though the Antar and trailer with tank was 15/- back in the day. That was heavy save Birthday or Christmas present. There was also a Matchbox version.
  11. The Flyboy trucks appeared in the Queen's parade in London a few years back. They did have solid 'Tank' wheels, I think they were on a Transit running gear. I may photos of them somewhere.
  12. The Graticule is a ranging aid. If you look on the top of the binos it is marked how far apart the graticule is at a certain distance.
  13. I agree with you Charlie. The small shows are more hassle, you have to answer questions from more people as there aren't hundreds of vehicles. On the other hand- who dosen't like talking about thier toys?
