  5. Wish I could be. The Hampshire regiment has a lot of links to Jersey. The Royal Hampshires have the freedom of the Island.
  6. You want fun. Take a tempoary secratary at Heathrow, who hadn't been briefed on airside procdure, and shouldn't have been sent out there anyway. Wearing a wig. Then walk said lady past a Lufthansa jet doing ground runs on an engine. The enginner in charge is reputed to have passed out as the wig flew through the engine! :-D Cost of engine strip down and check, about £50,000
  7. Welcome, last time I used agricultural machinery it was horse drawn or steam!
  8. Goole? Haven't been that way for years! Welcome in.
  9. Welcome Dave, all knowledge gratfully recived, critised , argued over. You'll never get bored here.
  10. Unfair!! :angryIf it wasn't for these people expecting us to stop and start all the time so they can get on and off, the system would work perfectly.
  11. Quite a few farmers have been known to spread Chicken ** round citys over the years. :cool2: Normally when politicians have come out with to much Bull 'excrement'. Wonderful paint remover. I should think it was put in a digester then the methane produced run off for use in a vehilce. This is currently very much in vouge for electricity production, especially as you will be able to sell surplus back to the grid. Chicken and pig, 'excrement' was particullay valued for making gun pwder, very high nitorgen content.
  12. If you can't fix it , ah b***to it! Lovley vehicle. Hope to see her at some shows!

Responding now! Welcome in Good Sir.
  16. Had this problem with Number One Son. 21 is the minimum age most insures will consider for an MV. And minimum one year driving!
  17. The RAC guy brought a flat sheet and just cut to size. You woukld probably get a spare out of the sheet as well. What about somwher like a caravan place? Might they sell you sheet?
  18. Is it flat? If so the 101 was done for me by RAC. cost £50 and the guy was obliging enough to cut the the remainder of the sheet for the other side and side windows (yes, i know they shouldn't be laminate)
  19. Jarda! welcome there iwill be soon be an EK owners club here! :-D
  20. Spoken to them, do know thier bussiness. There is also Blackheath battries, but they have no web site. Lincon bateries are shipped dry, which means you get the battery factory fresh. I've decided on Optima RTS2.1 there only six volt battery. 200mm x250mm x 90 mm, 45 amp hr but with a crank of 815 amps! Also teh benifits of shock proofing fast charge will stand sitting about better than conventional, temp ranges etc.
  21. Oh no hasnt it got through to him yet? NO MATE!! I'm sorry, but as your best friends keep telling you! YOU WILL not look good in stockings and suspendeers! :shocking:
