  4. Disconet regulator BEFOR re-polarising. It may have got the hump if its been removed. Check the obvoius, if you took if off have you put the wires back right? (Says the man who spent an hour stripping headlights out before checking the fuse)
  5. Also, the positon of theblast. Most of it is going into thin air. During the Blitz the shock wave would have been channeled bettween other buildings. Explosions are very quircky things, cloud cover for instanc can make a tremendous diffrence.
  6. Did you re-polarise the genny on refitting? and, is she negative or positive earth. The genny may have been polarised backwards.

Just outside is Jerusalem Farm Cemetry. The farm itself has been making Calvados since the 16 century. They only sell at the farm. Like drinking liquid sunshine! Best of the best.

  12. During the later part of the 19th and early 20th century, all the rialway company had horse boxes. the railways were the countries biggest user of Horse's. The other use for them was for fox hunting. Many railstations, especially in the 'Shire's were built speciffically to handle horses. It was part of the deal done with land owner's that in return for access for horses. Fox hunting being THE sociakl activity at the time

  18. Yes Alan. There is a wall painted with scenes from his books in the market square. Including a Fighting Machine, and the HG Wellls theatre on Mason's hill. Blooming cheek claiming a Kentish Man in Surrey! Mind you as usual I can find a Channel Island Connection. Mr Poly, a lot of the action takes place on Sark.
