    That is a nice find. I notice a modern fire extingusher. All the toys seem to be there. Does the engine turn over?

    Ouch, not good. As a desperate last resort, the 1950/60 BMC engines used in the FG range fit easily enough, and there is a Diisel version.

    Normally the cylinder chambers have to be bored out. I do have a Smith & Wesson 200 that has been deaced and the chamber has solid ends so look like bullets. I also cut down some non primered .38 cases to fill the other end.

    Easy enough to change lens colour. I stick the orange tape used to repair lenses behind them. As LED have virtually no heat works perfectly. The low curent requirment would be a help. The Dynamo just about copes with all the lights, but struggles at low speed or staionary with a trailer.

    As far as any special vehicles goes. Cherished Cars have a specific section for just such things. They also seem to be people who want to do buissness with enthusiasts. I was told we make the best risk, we worry dote and nit pick over the vehicles all the time. :-D

    Treid him, a really nice guy. He went out of his way to try and find some, no luck. My 12 volt Dodge is on LEDs and also has small strips of LEDs under the wings, make a lot of diffrence as you can se ethe vehicle width. It is the bulb contatiners that are the real problem there just plain pug ugly!

    Hadn't thought of putting them under the wing. Trouble with LED is she is 6 volt and none seem avavilable.

    The one fly in my ointment is the foul modern indicators on the front of Katy. Can anyone suggest a type of lamp or a scource that I can get something more sympathetic for the vehicle? (Don't mention the siren! That has it's own story and won't be coming off)

    Nice unit!! The modern ones will convert very easily to run on gas, so you'sd have an economic working unit for shows! :-D
