  1. About two years seems to be the avarage gestation period.
  2. Be careful about fuel gauge, they have a tendency to over read. If it gets near the quarter, top up.
  3. That's the point of the original Battle of Britian film, what's CGI? never heard of it. Though some classic gaffs like the doorbell. There is garden on my work route with a 1:1 replica Spitfire in it, I'm told the house belongs to one of the stars of Bof B.
  4. Um, thought trailer looked very familaiar. Been done, and a lot better.
  5. Right, hob nails and horse shoe iron were standard. Driver's were allowed Rubber Soles. Try driving in hob nails. Seperate toe cap was the standard.
  6. Remeber the scene in Battle of Britian 'Shut up! In Polish!'
  7. Hope you kissed her goodnight, and read her a story. Got to baby them you know. 😀
  8. May you have many happy miles and adventures together! Has She dunked you yet! It must and will happen or you aren't a true Dodge Gaurdian! 🤩 Now important things! Full description and chassis number to chase her age down. When She's dunked you, I'll tell yopu the easy way to avoid it.
  9. I'm closer at Swanley will send PM
  10. Build card will at least get you into the right area for a bonnet number. My WC51 has my Mother's birthday as the bonnet number. Alternatley find a picture of the unit you want to portray and copy.
  11. Honestly, a bit like hunting Unicorns. There were rebuilds, disposal to other countries, disposal of records, write offs. The only reason I can be certain of my WC54 's Katy's number is she kept her rebuild plate, if that had been unscrewed for any reason, no record at all. I have photos of Dodges in UK service carrying Z numbers.
  12. Worth downloading to keep with the instrument for the future. , you are only the current gaurdian,
  13. That film adds a whole new dimesion to the sight. Treat with care a lot of work went into it.
  14. You may be able to getthe dead one back by parralele charging. Stick a battery on charge then use jump leads to connect that to the dead one and charge both for half hour or so,. Gets enough charge back in the dead one to allow charging.
  15. OOH nice find! An optical range finder works on two basic pricipals, one brings an image into focus and gives range, the other , one is a steroscpic range finder. You should see an image in each eyepice, then adjust the lenses till image coincides.
  16. OK. easy to get uptight. You all know I come from Jersey, and yes, I'd never wear a WW2 German uniform and I'm uncomfortable around German re-eanctors, but hey, it is my problem. I'm not bothered about Italian, but a friend is upset by Japanesese. Ridiculous situation, getting offended now sems to be a hobby for some people. .
  17. I must say she has the elegance of function. Not 'Pretty' but the feeling that you get in ask her to do it, she will.
  18. OK, the other way is report it to the Police as 'Lost property' wait three months not claimed you keep. To establsh any legal claim to Good Title you have to prove you took reasonable steps to find the owner. You don't know the history it may have been stolen years back. Wether you like it or not, why not just talk to a solicitor?
  19. The best way for this is a notice at the entrance, and a small ad in the local press. Then in case of argument you show you have taken 'All Resonable Steps' to establish an owner. an alternate though one I have never tried, report it to the council as Fly tipped. Done this with a couple of dumped caravans.
  20. As a conosieur of M25 cock ups, gladd I'm not working this weekend. 😀
  21. Is that the cart sprung version and do the front hubs have a whinch drum shaped extension?
  22. There is also the Odyessey range. I have one those and abused it for several years, still goes.
  23. There will be one. Took two years to find mine, but worth it in the end.
  24. If you have two people, and I'd not recommend less. Then you can slip a bar through straps on the lift points and just lift. Joys of older stuff they were built to be worked on.
