We had no problems at Damyons (this yr.) but then i left the doors on the jeep most of the time to keep seats dry- oh and the area by the cornfield was quieter.
I am sure others will be along with more info but- make sure weight capacity of stand is more than weight of engine, and also- check bolts for belhousing will go through the frame mounting points i found this out on my Farmall tractor engine. but u could make converting mounts if it is a problem. hope this helps. :cool2:

petrol - is there anywhere just off the M20 to get cheap petrol on the way down?
We have relatives in Hythe. I use Tesco on junction 10 (M20) before Hythe and then you can follow A20 down to Hythe (or M20 if u prefer) I look up tesco before long trips so i can find petrol :nut:
Mark thanks for the positive words-

I did. I was happy to support the shows, but had enough when they wanted me to pay. Result didnt use the Mk1 Escort Mexico enough so I sold it (had it 26 years) and bought a '42 GPW. (but then now i am in my 40's and a paid up grumpy git when it suits )
Have you tried Hagerty- 0844 824 1134 some of my mates in the AVO owners clubs used them, as as i recently posted I have just moved to them. Try that number, i spoke to Charlie who was most helpful.
All the best
Gerry
