    Flooding

    Hardly surprising it broke down if it cannot normally be used ,but knowing those Jersey lanes the width limit does make sense especially with hundreds of tourist hire cars going round in circles

Off to Normandy with my wife and 9 year old daughter in 4 weeks ,cant spend all the time in museums and at historic sites it is a family holiday after all so what I need to know is which places are best to visit and which are not worth the effort .Also does anyone know of any non ww2 sites to visit to keep the others happy cheers Nigel

I have just started reading this book and then read your review and have to say that so far I agree with all you have to say and although it may not be the best description on that famous night it certainly gives a good personal insight to the man himself and is proving to be a very enjoyable read
