  1. lovely looking bike indeed I bought my m20 untried off ebay 2 years ago and although not as tidy as yours appears I am still quite happy with my purchase.As far as the rear light goes I use a repro lucas tubular type on a prewar type numberplate which is at least mot worthy and looks quite acceptable nigel

  3. proof of how important it is to have a workshop manual and take plenty of photos prior to disassembly because you can never remember exactly how things go back together or perhaps this is a LRDG special vehicle?

I know Tony is liable to be biased towards his home land but everything he says about Noirmont point is true ,it is a superb sight and along with other cios run sights in the islands must surely set the standard for bunker restoration and presentation that many other commercial and private efforts can only dream of Nigel

    As Tony says Noirmont Point Jersey this site is well worth a visit as along with the command bunker shown there is a fire control tower ,several gun positions ,ammo bunkers crew quarters AA positions trench systems a couple of memorials and various other small structures to see. Check the cios website for opening times of command and fire control bunkers but everything else is open 24/7 Nigel

I may be wrong but I think all the German remains were removed and sent to mainland cemetries or back to Germany several years after the war but I think there is still British military graves there.There is certainly graves from the ship HMS Charybdiss which sunk in local waters during ww2 Nigel

  16. always fancied a look inside fort Southwick but as it is not possible I would recomend fort Nelson as a local alternative excellent collection of artillery as well as the fort itself Nigel
