  6. its all about scale ,a bucket is too big for a motorcycle therefore should be replaced with a brown tin mug
  7. November 4 this year the London Motorcycle Museum in Greenford will be holding its military day although this is a bike museum there is room for all military vehicles of any age friendly atmosphere with lots to see and easy access from A40 and good hot food on site Nigel

As I said before to me MO is a good shopping trip but this is because I am a militaria collector as well as a vehicle owner and I think it is fair to say that if the vehicles stop attending then the parts dealers will stay away which will obviously see off even more vehicles.To be honest as my vehicles are British and 2 wheeled I am almost always dissapointed by the lack of available parts at shows especially considering the amount of German bike parts available at Beltring this year but hasnt part of the appeal of any part of the old vehicle hobby been the thrill of the chase.   11. forget the foriegn tat buy a good old British m20 slow thirsty heavy but great fun to ride easy spares and watching the girder forks bounce will keep you entertained for hours but then again I am easily pleased Nigel

    I recently bought a 1967 bsa b40 and it is not fitted with panniers is this correct or did all have them originally Nigel

  16. the vehicles were good but some of the re-enactors were a bit wooden
  17. As a militaria collector and having a general interest in military history I treat it as a shopping trip with the benefits of vehicles and enough entertainment to keep the rest of the family happy.
  18. cant go this year as I am going to be driving to Normandy on the saturday but this is a highly reccomended show especially if you like battle re-enactments and military shopping
  19. I think you wll find Tony Oliver was in the traders area near to jeepbooks in a large marquee with at least 1 vehicle and I have a feeling the sdkfz group were there too but I could be wrong about them Nigel
