  4. went looking for m20 bits but nothing doing as usual ! I hope it does not break down again as all the parts seem to have entered the Bermuda triangle or perhaps I am just blind ! Nigel
  5. where were you staying in Normandy ?was it Ivy House? we are going there in august,should be good!Guernsey is indeed an excellent place to see fortifications and battery Mirus is indeed impressive but get permission first as it is all on private land ,Nigel

  9. good to see another m20 on here they are great fun to play with although the wife keeps saying she wants a sprung pillion pad instead of the solid one currently fitted .I am only a short distance round the m25 in Rickmansworth so if I can be of any help to you get in touch ,cheers Nigel

Every boxing day an informal gathering of vehicles takes place on Sarrat common herts close to a pub called the boot ,there is always a good selection of vehicles coming and going between 11am and 2pm .Vehicles range from bicycles to traction engines and there is ussually several military vehicles around .I will be taking my m20 and hope to see a few other mv s about,get away from the turkey for a while and take a nice trip into the countryside,you know it makes sense,, Nigel

I went to this event and although it was not well supported it was well organised and is based at a very good museum with plenty to interest all the family including local history a good collection of motorcycles including some unique machines and of course the visiting vehicles etc.I for one will definitley attend next year on my m20 and hopefully can tempt a few other local military bike owners to attend as it would obviously be an ideal meeting point for anyone in NW London Nigel

Hi guys just a quick question m20s are supposed to be fairly common as over 126000 were built during the war but whenever I go to a show very few seem to be about I only saw 2 at beltring 1 at operation ajax and none at chiltern open air museum prelude to d day but 3 in 4 days in Guernsey ,have they all retired to the channel islands or are they all as good at breaking down as mine is? cheers Nigel
