  1. PM sent to you Trapper. This forum is really good though, just about any question you ask will have an answer somewhere on here
  2. Hi and welcome The folks here are friendly and know their stuff. Down your way there are members of the Scottish Military Vehicle Group too if that helps.
  3. With some luck I may be down at my ferret next week (weather and cold bug permitting). I'll try to get some shots for you.
  4. As others have pointed out, There should not be more passengers than seats / positions and the lookout should not be sitting exposed and without any means of communicating to the driver. All it takes is one accident and the same press that is happily reporting on this will be screaming from the rooftops to get armour banned. Will his insurance actually cover him for this or is he now dodgy territory? (Most MV owners are not insured for hire or reward)
  5. Good tips but I think the presenter was a bit rubbish.
  6. I got bump stops for the ferret from Banisters http://www.milweb.net/go/banister/
  7. Would be good to see it on the road again.
  8. Hi and welcome. What is its number and what do you know of its history?
  9. You have to admit, it beats a pair of socks and a bottle of Old Spice aftershave
  10. Welcome Do you have any specific tankette in mind?
  11. As long as the collection is protected. Is there a chance of still using the grounds for the NEMVC ?
  12. It does look really nice though. I hope it goes to a good home.
  13. When I can afford it, I'll be changing the tires on my ferret for new ones. I don't like the idea of driving around on 24 year old rubber.
  14. RIP. May his legacy continue.
  15. If no one goes for it here, I'm told there is a good market for these as small summer houses.
  16. As long as it doesn't allow the vehicle to deteriorate, then I'm fine with a work worn look.
