IMO, cam nets don't work on civvy vehciles, a parachute though, with a cam net over it.

One things for sure, in service, a mixture of colours would have been used, mixed locally.

I have my paint mixed up in satin finish, never had any probs with it.

Ive used the new thompson water seal, nothing wrong with it. I reckon b and q own brand is just as good

On a simular note...... A few weeks back i'm in the bath and notice what I thought was a zit in my bottom region. This was sunday night, by wednesday it was the size of a brussell sprout!!!!! Went to the doctors and he said it was an infected boil, and gave me anti biotics and said if it didnt start going down in 2 days I would have to go to A+E to get it lanced! eeeek! 2 days later it had gotten bigger so of I went to A+E. Doctor said he would have to lance it and said he would give me a local anesthetic. I think to myself ' don't panic rambo, youve had a needle before'. When he stuck the needle in I screamed so loud you could have heard me miles away!!!!! He then cut a 1cm hole and drianed the boil. I really wished I had gone to the doctors straight away.

I know there are quite a few on here from essex. As many of you know, I live with my sister in a large house, well, she is down sizing, which means i'm on the lookout for somewhere to live in about 8 weeks. Studio/1 bed with parking for the landy. I work in rainham, so up to 20 miles radius. Bear me in mind chaps, in case you hear of something. cheers richard

I fitted range rover diffs to my old l/w, made a HUGE difference, alot cheaper than a OD as well.

Have thougt about a cammo net over the top, but, it would need to be a big camo net(tent is 11x7) and you can always see through a como net, and they are a pain in the arse to use! I was in asda today and they had a water based spray on fence panel stain, dark brown, and £10 for 5 litres.

One of the lads has just bought himself a very nice civvi tent. The roof is white and the walls are blue, the tent is canvas. He wants to dye the canvas green. I was thinking about painting it with very thinned down paint, but, I reckon it will go hard and crack. So i'm thinking maybe the best thing to do is dye it. Ive found some green water based wood dye on ebay that looks like it may do the job. Just wondering if any of you could reccomend a green canvas dye, ideally, NATO greenish. cheers.

Very very nice, but....................... I sold my old spec a few years back and have stopped buying guns, to big a chunk of money to just sit there. £900= a land rover!!!

How lucky!!!!!

Ive owned land rovers for years now, and just use normal nuts and bolts. What ive learned is if a nut/bolt is a git to undo, just cut it off and use a new one. Plenty of copper grease as well.
