  1. Bonnet catches done, windscreen frame getting there, though it needs to mount a bit lower I think.
  2. They do look good though.:-D Didn't the Brits make some lovely looking vehicles at that time?
  3. I remember a picture of the jeep but had not seen the one with a plane mounted.... *EDIT* We posted at the same time ....again willys @ MHillyard Would you like to repost your photo in the other thread to keep it together?
  4. ...or the russian copy..... Moskvich? You posted whilst I was tryping, did Renault copy the Opel too?
  5. I just love the sound of that engine on tickover, superb job gents!
  6. At 28 seconds on the "you tube" movie posted by Andy Fowler is that a Kettenkrad chassis in red oxide?
  7. Yes please! Lots of photo's...we don't read very well:cool2:
  8. DAN THE STEAM Said I am pleased to hear that, I used to be involved in casting and patern making in a previous life... I recall complaints from customers who had supplied the patern and no drawing, when the cast part had no machining allowance, a time consuming if not too expensive mistake usually. We always made sure that the new boy got to measure up something he had cut on the saw using the contraction rule (not expansion.. I forgot the name) watching him turn the rule round and over and getting a different result each time was priceless.:cheesy:
  9. Have you used an expansion rule to get the dimensions for the pattern? I ask as it looks to be a fit on the chassis rail, the pattern should not fit the rail as when you cast this in metal it will shrink to the correct size as it cools...... You may have this all in hand, if so please ignore me:)
  10. And on ebay today..... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190624589282&fromMakeTrack=true&ssPageName=VIP:watchlink:top:en Looks good, I wonder what price the reserve is set at. *Edited once auction ended* Mini Landrover went for £2,5K
  11. I have finally got down to working on my mini jeep again, managed to get the bonnet all but done...Hope to have the catches on at the week end then I will start on the screen.
  12. On sticky ground here but the first of the last set of photo's is saying Mack to me..... Either way keep on posting them up Rosco!
  13. Welcome to the forum! More pictures please:cool:

Hi Joris, I am using IE8. For at least 3 days the forums have been almost unusable, pages do not display correctly with info scattered all over the screen. I managed one post but it took so long I gave up. It is still bad today..... I look forward to comfortable browsing soon!
