Welcome, one beep to another!
There's plenty of us on here blessed with the beauties of of the Mount Road plant.
We'll probably cross paths at some event or other as I seem to get over to the N. East in mine from time to time... you'll know it when y'see it...:cool2:
I don't know if there was a sheet for fitting one... I've had mine on and off a few times... still got it, though the canvas has long since given up the ghost... I used bolts n wingnuts for on-and-offyness. There should be bars that bolt through the windscreen frame and the cab sides that the doors hang from and they latch through the frame... Still got all mine so yell if you get stuck and i can photograph bits if you need.
Welcome Mathew
I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for amongst these pages...
Refuellers, follow me jeeps, bomb tractors, Flying Control Trucks...allsorts :cool2:
ISTR a photo of german prisoners being led away as Monty rides past in the back of a jeep...
One of the prisoners is doing a double take looking at Monty...
He will have had one I just doubt that these are off it :-X
Funny you should say that...
Bought this at an auto jumble yesterday...
not because I needed John Bull brand Control lever rubbers for a 30's motorbike
but because of the instructions... :cool2:
I'm not sure when they (or even if they) went out of use...this is the British Army after all:cool2:
Ive got a couple and they're both 45 dated... although I've taken all the webbing off mine to make a radio rack :red:
