    After the Falklands I had an M16 mag chucked over the side because I hadnt declared it and after the first Gulf war I was called in over a 7.62 round in my bag! turns out that it was a bottle of Tabasca sause

    London were more than helpfull for me but as the de ac was an early speck non UK they arranged for it to be upgraded as well all in all £60. If I remember correctly

    Pictures and details in oop book "Outlines WP2 25 pounder gun part 2" Trial July1943 fired from vehicle and project terminated in September same year WVEE557 Ford 4X4 The LRDG also trialed one on a Mack NR4 10 ton 6X4 also not followd up with If I can find the book I will post more details there was also talk of a AEC Materdor with cab removed but I have no details of that one

    I had the plesure of visiting an Air Deffence camp in the late 80s with 12 Regt R.A. they took us out to a shed in the woods full of L40/60s Boffers guns and a musem with a Bren carrier with a strange front end They were a great bunch of Guy and Girls they came over to Germany and were a Great laugh Minden Battery will never forget the good times we had :-DI still have some phots of a Diamond T Homles wrecker 24.801 I wonder where it is now

    Dont know if you would see it from that side best coming by on C2C railway line and having a look as you pass it seems to be off the road quite a bit by the hedge

    There is one at the side of the M25 just where they are widening it south bound past jct 30 you can see it from the southend to fenchurch st train if its any help been there 16years at least:-(

    Let me have a dig this Week End I should have some printed info as my Morris runs on one still. Its a basicly simple design that uses athe vacume from the exhaust to draw fuel into a container then pulls it to the carburator I was told the only thing besides blockage that could go wrong with one is a puncture in the float.
