    well just got back i would say weather was average and great over the weekend, one of the highlights for me was a trip round the arena in a humber 1942 armed with the 2 pounder cheers singe! have to agree to many caravans and civvy tents least put cammo netting over them!

    i always drive ferret with lights on and on dual carriage ways etc going up hill i put hazards on all helps!

    best thing to do is book appointment with solicitor to run you thru procedure then its quite simple to to do all this,if not time consuming one tip is to get lots of certified copies of death certificate every tom dick and harry will want one from utility companies to banks.

    all very well looking at alternative braking arrangements ,but how are u going to prove that they comply with c&u if involved in a accident?

    with eng cold ign on temp gauge should register ambient temp, normal running temp about 180 at idle ,well is on a b60 engine ! now will engine hand crank? if so top up levels and try starting it again ,with coolant system all correct thermostat should start to open at 170 ish if it goes above whilst out and about 195f your coolant system is not pressurizing correctly

    looking for thoughts on this from ferret owners how often do u change engine oil/filter and transfer box/ gearbox oils ?i know oils are 30 w for engine and gearbox and ep80-90 for transfer box just wondering about change intervals i do about 400 miles a year in ferret.

    i would suggest that most owners of classic mil vehicles have all relevant docs on my ferret at shows i take off number plates and tax disc is in my docs folder if jo public came up to me and asked where my tax disc was they would get told to go fourth !!!
