you must be in one of the few places that you can see the flypast from SE london, I've lived around Abbey Wood/Woolwich all my life with good views over the thames and have never managed to see one yet as they fly well north of the docks and Becton. Saw Lightnings over back garden for Churchill's Funeral in 66, 50 year of LHR turned smack over my current abode, except for lanc and rapides which flew different route, in 97 , as did the RN 100 flight. Even with Bins it would not be easy to see from a high point. Really just jealous if you can.

Eddy it was done this way so that people who did not know each other or whether they can trust each other could still progress the transaction. BAnks have (or had) good reputations whichever country they are in so are good intermediaries. Paperwork should also include export license if required, unless they have gone over to e mail, but no one accepts a copy V5, so I suspect papers will be forthcoming. If he does or does not have your banking details then his bank can use a bank of their choice and send all the paperwork to their head office or local branch, this should have the bill of lading for the shipping company stating details of container contents, shipping line, departure and arrival dates of stated ship, and how all is to be paid, as he can ship it FOB (Free on Board) same thing as COD. you will be asked to call at a bank branch of local head office to accept and sign the paperwork which will need to be taken to the Port shipping office as proof of ownership and pay their costs at that time.
