    Lady be Good

Yes, very sad. It is always good to see the B24 Liberator in the spotlight because the B17 Flying Fortress usually recieves the limelight. I am going to watch that film somehow.
  3. That is not like any Saracen dashboard that I have seen. Is this a deluxe GT model :-).
  4. That is precisely along what lines I was thinking... more power and economy :-)
  5. I saw a new Iveco 6x6 tipper with Atlas loading grab crane on the M1 yesterday. Are the British army buying Ivecos???
  6. Yes, it was good to see the Me 109 and the Spitfire flown together as friends rather than enemies on tv the other night :-).
  7. Has anyone got a diagram or technical drawing of the Saracen engine/trans/transfer box?
  8. Is the transmission divorced from the transfer box or is it in unit?
  9. Hi there Saracen specialists. I have seen a Saracen with a faulty transmission. Can a propriety engine with automatic transmission be installed in lieu of the original B80 and preselect setup?
  10. I think you must be very brave to drive a Landrover in such a fashion..
  11. Are most of the Militant MKIII cargo variants left hand drive??? Most of those I have seen are ???:-)
  12. Fantastic, words fail me... I had no idea that you had sorted the water propulsion system out!!!:-)
  13. Adolph Hitler supposedly saw the DB prototype and dismissed it instantly on the grounds that a vehicle designed by an 'inferior' race should not be copied by the master race... I am glad this happened though because I love the Panther and to my mind was the best all round tank of ww2:-)
  14. Sadly I forgot my camera but I saw a gorgeous Humber FV 1600 radio truck:-)
  15. I am quite aware of the inadeqacies of the 'Battle Of Britain' but I like it nonetheless. The use of Casa and Hispanos is acceptable. The cast and soundtrack by Ron Goodwin and Sir William Walton more than make up for it though.:-) I don't think it casts a bad light on the Germans and I can imagine Adolf Galland behaving just like Falke or Foehn, drinking champagne and chomping cigars. I love Sir Laurance Olivier's portrayal of Sir Hugh Dowding, in my opinion the greatest leader the RAF ever had and the saviour of Britain.
  16. Bring it on, dude!!! I would love to see this. It took michaelangelo 13 years to paint the cistine chapel. So the Tiger will take a while :-).
  17. I would love to see the auction report...
  18. Just watched the film 'Sink The Bismarck' on TV. What a load of inaccurate sh**e it is. I watched it as a kid and thought it was good. Watching it now 30 odd years later when you know the history of it, was very disappointing... Still love the 'Battle Of Britain' though :-).
