    That is a bugger,I would have loved to have met you in the flesh so to speak. Unfortunatley we had somewhere to go hence the early exit!!! Hopefully see you soon as there must be some more shows before the next Saddleworth :-).Next year Bernadette will look a lot smarter as my renovation program should be complete by then!!!     With my greatest pleasure,Mark. It was a great day and well organised. I think there was a lot of skullduggery,misinformation and people who did'nt want it to go ahead and as a result not quite as well attended as last year but a fantastic event nonetheless :-).

    It was a good day out with lots of interesting people and vehicles. The Dakota flypast was impressive too.:-)

    I agree it is a much harder way to conduct warfare.... The SS and the Americans in Vietnam succumbed to the concept of harsh treatment of the civilian population. It is easy to condemn their actions but if you were not there you would not understand. Insurgency is an awful thing to combat... You do not possess the advantage of knowing who your enemy is, until he tries to kill you or your comrades....

    I had no idea that the Luftwaffe had anything to do with the the Holocaust... I had always considered them to be very honourable.

    A truly horrible act, but unfortunately somewhat necessary. It is impossible to calculate the number of casualties (on both sides) if an invasion of mainland Japan had been undertaken.

    A good day was had by all, Bernadette never missed a beat and only my Father and I's misinterpretation of the directions let us down. We must have travelled an extra ten miles by unscheduled detours!!!:-) The GMC was there again and there was a lovely Bedford MW an a gorgeous Goddess...

    That is incredible. It must have had a full rework. Is it still petrol engined? I think the Saracen is a cool machine and these SA ones are even better.
