radiomike7
Yes that's the beast. If it is your MAIN occupation. As usual how it quite works out no one knows. One of our enginners does the occasional service shift as overtime, he has to have a CPC, the rest of the guys in the workshop don't. What percentage of the job is driving? And is it 'in connection with your own or your employers buissness'? That's a complete nonsense then, on supermarket distribution I spend more time loading and unloading than driving, so are you suggesting I can get away without the 35 hours training every 5 years? Apparently the only requirement is that you show up at the training venue, there are no tests or modules to pass. Theoretically I can turn up on the day, ask the instructor to wake me up at the end of the course and fall fast asleep.

Tony B
About £35 just to stick in an e mail saying these people have wasted a day. Remeber you now have to carry your licence when working to PROVE you don't need to have done the course whne issued. If you forget the VOSA **8 can send you home like a naughty boy to get it!
