Maybe you have any infomation recarding the name or type of ship the artical below is about please CW or anyone ? Incident No: 19502 Date: 03-10-2008 Time: 18:23 Details: Fire in engine room of ex-mine sweeper Address: Priors Boat Yard, Burnham-on-Crouch Attendance: 2 x Burnham & Fire Boat, 1 x Tillingham, 1 X Woodham Ferrers Crews are tackling a fire in the engine of a former mine sweeper moored in the river crouch. the boat is 40 metres long and it is believed that there is a fire in the engine room. Crews are investigating wearing breathing apparatus because the vessel is heavily smoke logged. Update 19:30 - Two crew members from the boat have been brought ashore by the life boat one suffering burns caused by a flash over, he has been placed in the care of the ambulance service. Two firefighters in breathing apparatus are making their way through the heavily smoke logged ship to find the seat of the fire. An external covering jet is in place. On a boating forum, a message was posted on 1-10-08, looking for a mooring at Burnham. It is a coincidence and seems like it might be the same boat.
