OK, I'd need a _substantial_ lottery win, some determined dieting[1], and I'd need to learn to drive first[2]:

1) Morris 25-HP 6-wheeled radio truck with W.S. No.2 installed

2) Leyland 6-wheeled lorry with W.S. No.3 installation.

3) 15cwt Wireless Truck with W.S. No.9 fitted (and plentiful supply of spare valves for the set!)

4) Austin 8-HP 2-seater with Wireless Set No.11

5) Lorry, 3-ton, Command, High Power, with WS12HP/R107/WS19 installation.

6) Lorry, 3-ton 4x4 Wireless (C or D) with WS33 installation.

7) Morris Light Reconnaissance Car, badged for 3rd Carpathian Rifle Division.[3]

8) T26E1 Pershing with 90mm gun (I have the installation kit and the WS19 for this!)

9) Universal Carrier fitted with WS18 installation.

10) FFW Land Rover with WS19HP

Chris.

[1] Especially to get in the LRC or the Pershing!

[2] "Keep death off the roads" has been my motto ever since I stalled going downhill during a driving lesson.

[3] My father travelled around some of Italy in one of these.

I need two buildings; a reality building for current projects and the fantasy building. This latter building would be for those items in my dreams. The likely hood of locating these items to place in the fantasy building, can be only classed as remote.

The list also reflects my current interests and period of interest time.

These are not in any order of preference.

1/ A traction engine with full armour plating as used in the Boer War.

2/ A Foster -Daimler or Thornycroft heavy oil tractor as used for towing large guns WW1.

3/ A heavy siege gun to tow behind above.

4/ A WW1 tank Mk 1 to Mk 111. A training tank with lighter metal plating allows for easier transportation.

5/ Thornycroft Hathi gun tractor.

6/ Rolls Royce or similar chassis armoured car. Pattern Mk1.

7/ Skoda- Sentinal steam powered tank.

8/ Tatra WW1 truck.

9/ The empty space to put in a future dream item.

10/ A vault in the corner that whenever opened has a fresh supply of money available for further dream projects.

It's funny how tastes change - looking back at my choices from 2008 I'd probably go for completely different vehicles these days. Call me fickle.

I especially like the idea of the "Securicor van, fully laden" from one of the earlier posts.
