Richard Farrant
The RB44 vehicles supplied to the army were delivered from 1990 onward. I recall that they were held out of service fro around 18 months soon after due to braking issues. Check out this website for details; http://www.dodge50.co.uk/rb44-story-1.html
radiomike7
Might this be one of the earlier RB44s with the Ford A series cab?
andym
Is this the one on Facebook with a VRN that shows it as registered in the 1990s? Andy

Andy OP says it is a 1982 but no details of reg. cab or body type. RB produced a small RB44 fire appliance around that time and there was also an A series cab military prototype. andym
If this is one being asked about on Facebook (different poster but same question wording) it's 98KJ60 and Merlin gives an in-service date of 29/08/91. Andy

johnwardle
Reynolds Boughton still exist, why not contact them with the chassis number and they will be able to give you a definitive date of manufacture. I have met Richard Boughton who is a director of the company, and I am sure he would be willing to help you.
