Dorset Boy
So last weekend , Rowlie, myself and my daughter Mollie went back to Ypres Belguim for the official inauguration of the Brothers in Arms memorial. As some know we were asked back in April to deliver the bronze statue of the brothers through the Menin gate and on to its final destination which was a huge honour and something in which we were only to pleased to help out in any way we could. The Liberty is still inBelguim until November when we hope to finally drive her back to the U.K. and home again. A few photos of us in April and also last weekend . The Liberty literally started first pull of the handle after 6 months left idle and ran as ever faultlessly. For more information please look up Brothers in Arms on either Facebook or Google and the amazing story of the Hunter brothers can be found. pyw304
I see the boys were from Nanango, Queensland, Australia. I passed through there just a couple of weeks ago to attend a large heritage rally. Thanks for the great post. Jarrod.
