Freddurrant
Hi everyone, Just thought I would say hello having joined the forum having read several useful and interesting threads. I’m a 32 year old Navy Officer from Somerset with a love of old vehicles and machining. Having recently been given a ‘family heirloom’ box of bits which apparently contains a Triumph 3HW motorcycle, I have commenced the rebuild and have now fully realised the mountain I have to climb. There are a lot of bit missing and not being a motorcycle man normally the leaning curve is steep. Looking forward to the process and sharing my experience.....and probably asking a few questions too...... If anyone has a triumph 3HW in Somerset I might become your new best friend.......... Tom M
Hello Fred, Welcome to the forum and military vehicle ownership! There are lots of very knowledgeable motorcycle owners and restorers on here who are always willing to help with advice. Take a look at the WD motorcycle forum as well, another great forum and source of advice, parts etc. I have a couple of WD motorcycles, and based in Wiltshire, but not a Triumph 3HW I’m afraid. Good luck with the restoration. Regards, Tom

Chris P
Hello Fred, I’m in north Bristol and have a 3HW that is pretty well up together. I’m not an expert but have tackled quite a few jobs on it so if you would like to chat about anything or would find it useful to look at one, let me know.
