michael1703
Saw this on ebay, looks to be something early beneath it https://www.ebay.co.uk/i/202047206384?ul_ref=https%3A%2F%2Frover.ebay.com%2Frover%2F1%2F710-241884-51242-37%2F4%3Fmpt%3D%255BCACHEBUSTER%255D%26ff9%3DGDN%26ff18%3DmWeb%26ff4%3D%257Bdevice_id%257D%26siteid%3D3%26ipn%3Dadmain2%26placement%3D483023%26ff5%3D968525885%26ff8%3D47056220774%26audid%3Daud-406136703332%26device%3Dm%26ff7%3Dforum.retro-rides.org%26mpre%3Dhttps%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fi%2F202047206384%26gclid%3DEAIaIQobChMIy63dh6fo4gIVzcPeCh1mKQuaEAEYASABEgKLyPD_BwE%26srcrot%3D710-241884-51242-37%26rvr_id%3D2006794384280%26rvr_ts%3D54a02dd316b0a9cc4154c6d4ffe69958
Nick Johns
The unusual open lattice chassis would suggest it to be a 1913-19 Austin 2/3ton twin prop chassis/axles/wheels http://www.austinmemories.com/styled-52/styled-54/index.html Edited June 14, 2019 by Nick Johns

Bob Grundy
Seems a bit heavy on the money side of things....
Grasshopper
The owner must be on something if they're expecting that much. There are plenty of preserved railways which have scores of unrestored carriages! Most in this state go for a token amount of money as they will sit awaiting their turn in the restoration queue. Gordon_M
I'm sure we have seen that before, maybe a year ago, and the price was similarly - interesting then. It'll be two hundred years old before they find a buyer at that price.
Ted170
Probably the wife insists to be sold and the husband cooperates, but makes sure it won;t be bought
