garys39
Spent yesterday at the Great Dorset Steam Fair, here are just a few photos of some of the WW1 vehicles, and especially the bells, which are ready to be transported to Ypres next week, for the St Georges Memorial Church (see link below). http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-leicestershire-40751031
Richard Farrant
Just return from 2 days at the show. Excellent and weather was very good. Very impressed with the WW1 display. Nice to catch up with old friends too.
john1950
Thank you for posting those marvellous pictures. They covey an air of organised tranquility with those bells waiting for their moment to Peal and make history.
Great War truck
Could only manage the one day but enjoyed everything I saw. Met plenty of old friends too. Also met forum member Cel over from Belgium with his family. He recognised me and I thought it was Jack. Introduced him to Steve and he also thought it was Jack. Very funny. Anyway, it was great to catch up. Nice to see Ians Liberty with the body almost finished now. It goes at quite a pace. Also saw Mr Bradys Napier which also seemed to be very fast. Richard Farrant
Yes was nice to see the three amigos in matching livery :-D You only have to shout "Humber" over a noisy showground and who turns up My brother had not been back to the show since 1987 and our friend Bob had never been before, so we all had an enjoyable two days there.
