rosie
Ok some sad stories of people not making it to Bolero and worse stories of trucks not making it back in one piece. BUT I have just spoken to my Dad who lives in Felixstowe and popped down on Sunday to see us. The weather today has been awful, just awful. The A12/A14 junction is closed due to flooding :-o The junction of the A12 that we came of for Bolero HQ is under about 2 foot of water! He says cars are FLOATING along the A12 :-( Can you imagine what could have happened if this weather hit 24-48 hours earlier?

Joris
Wow, but I thought all along we had been very, very lucky with the weather.
Snapper
Yep. Agreed. All I've seen since is car accidents in the wet - people not paying attention or adjusting for the conditions. I don't think it is correct to say we got away with it because we did not take part in the Muppet Show - but it could have been a lot less fun than it was. What we need next time is one of those big Brockway 666 pontoon trucks.
