rampant rivet
Yes I have a whole pile of cards which I was informed came from a camp Nr Malvern mostly post war vehicles but some WWII lots of signals trucks lots of ford thames and civilian cars mostly dispatched for disposal at ruddington Probably have around 100 of them I have found a photo on the web of 06CC65 which looks like it was taken in Germany possibly. Lauren Child
Could you tell us more about the Fords? I have a couple, and one at least is a bit peculiar.
rampant rivet
Could you tell us more about the Fords? I have a couple, and one at least is a bit peculiar. There are over 50 cards containing details of fords which models are you interested in ?
Richard Farrant
I see there is a 1943 Austin K6 Breakdown Gantry card in your photo and another 1943 Austin 3 ton Monitor, which could be a K6 airfield fire truck. The Ford card might be identifiable by its chassis number.
Sean N
The Bedford RL is interesting as I'm sure UXM 139 either survives or I've seen photos of it recently. There's what appears to be an AEC O.854 with Coles crane there as well.
Richard Farrant
The crane, gantry and monitor vehicles are likely to have been stationed at the RRE Pershore aerodrome.

robin craig
Brilliant information but amazing how off topic the original thread has become, its almost worthy of being a thread over on Maple Leaf Up forum! Hey ho, it lead to something good. Thanks for saving those cards and putting them up, hopefully one day one of those vehicles surfaces. ted angus
ROBIN, Many thanks for sharing this info. The Austin Monitors are K3 so I am sure they will be Comms bodies equiped for Monitor duties. TED
