Great War truck
Even with this provenance, is it worth this figure? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Willys-JEEP1-5-HP-BROWN-LEATHER-WILLYS-JEEP-/251656229050?forcerrptr=true&hash=item3a97e150ba&item=251656229050&pt=US_Cars_Trucks
Mark Pearson
I would say yes. When you see the figures some people pay for Art ! If I had the money I would seriously look into buying it. Mark...:nut:

Gordon_M
I've been to the castle and seen the apartment. I knew a jeep went with it, but I'm unsure how much he used it, if ever. Not saying he didn't, just don't know.
David Herbert
It is hard to imagine a Jeep that could be more desirable to a wealthy American person interested in military vehicles. This is going to be far more valuable than the first one of whatever version, purely because of its history. I would be suprised if it doesn't sell. eddy8men
I agree £75k is the wrong kind of money for a carrier, probably more like half that for a good one but at least a carrier is a piece of tracked ww2 armour but a jeep is just a jeep and I wonder how much of that one for sale is original but I suppose it's worth what someone is prepared to pay for it and if the guy gets £3/4 million then good luck to him ! Jack
Seriously - that is not worth it. I can see some value if it was his war time ETO Jeep but given as gift?! Restored - surely that would have devalued it?????
