stanfonj Posted May 23, 2014 Share Posted May 23, 2014 Hi, I've had my lightweight for a couple of years now, but I'm finally getting around to joining you guys on here. My lightweight is a 1983 GS, ex 3 Commando, and was, at one point, a winterized version. It was a lucky eBay find - just down the road and in very good un-molested condtion. I've spent the last couple of years just tarting it up. One interesting point is that when I sent off for the B-Card, I received two results; both show the same reg no (93KA08) and the same VIN number. I'm assuming this was a simple clerical error, but presumably there was another 93KA08 floating around somewhere. Interestingly, in Mark Cook's book on Lightweights, there was no 93KA07....
