Lauren Child
Guilty pleasure that is, Kellys Heroes is just starting on ITV4. I would watch but I'm busy practicing my other dog impression (required to maintain my H license).
Enigma
Guilty pleasure that is, Kellys Heroes is just starting on ITV4. I would watch but I'm busy practicing my other dog impression (required to maintain my H license). Seen it many times and still a favourite of mine. The theme song gained a new dimension when it was played during our friend James's cremation.
Lauren Child
It is one of those tunes that when you listen to the lyrics and what they're actually saying makes a big difference. I still can't bimble around in a vehicle without it popping to mind though.

Vulture
A great film which I watched for the first time in over a decade with my youngster recently on DVD. Lots to enjoy in it I too love the Burning Bridges song by the Mike Curb Congregation. Here are the lyrics: Friends all tried to warn me But I held my head up high All the time they warned me But I only passed them by They all tried to tell me But I guess I didn't care I turned my back and Left them standing there All the burning bridges that have fallen after me All the lonely feelings and the burning memories Everyone I left behind each time I closed the door Burning bridges lost forevermore Joey tried to help me find a job A while ago When I finally got it I didn't want to go The party Mary gave for me When I just walked away Now there's nothing left for me to say All the burning bridges that have fallen after me All the lonely feelings and the burning memories Everyone I left behind each time I closed the door Burning bridges lost forevermore Years have passed and I keep thinking What a fool I've been I look back into the past and Think of way back then I know that I lost everything I thought that I could win I guess I should have listened to my friends All the burning bridges that have fallen after me All the lonely feelings and the burning memories Everyone I left behind each time I closed the door Burning bridges lost forevermore Burning bridges lost forevermore
jason1968
What I love about this film is 99% of the vehicles are right for this era not like say pearl harbour where they use reos and various other films that use the wrong trucks it drives me potty. ALWAYS WITH THE NEGATIVE WAVES sorry

RattlesnakeBob
 It's probably to my mind one of the all time best theme songs and has stuck in my head ever since seeing the film for the first time so very many years ago ......and yeah.........I know it's sliding off topic but!.......... nothing winds me up more than seeing Jeeps with external fuel fillers and one piece windscreens in WW2 films ! ......and M47/48 Tanks being used as Tigers and Chaffees pretending to be Shermans and White Halftracks painted up as German Halftracks and ...and... and.... and.... etc etc ! Tony B
CALM DOWN DEAR!! It's only a movie! (A total traversty I'll agree, but only a movie!)
Lauren Child
I didn't realise until watching it this time that it was (loosely) based on a true story. I've now added the book "Nazi Gold: The Sensational Story of the World's Greatest Robbery - and the Greatest Criminal Cover-Up" to my Christmas list.
