k2timbo Posted September 30, 2012 Share Posted September 30, 2012 Hello there, like many military vehicle enthusiasts of a certain age my interest started from an early age building Airfix kits, one after the other! I was always drawn to the Austin k2 ambulance and managed to acquire one in 1990 which was a triumph of enthusiasm over experience. Since then I've spent the last 20+ years on a rolling restoration and getting her to a standard that I am happy with. I've nearly finished, honest, and hope that I can get a little help with the last bits and maybe pass on some help and experience from my successes (and failures) over the years.
