Ian L
Were WW2 trailers ever fitted with the brass rebuild plates after the war as none of my 10cwt trailers have then but one of my 20cwt Bowsers has 4 holes drilled in the L/H side of the 'A' frame where one might of been fitted ? If so are genuine N.O.S still avaiable or repo ? Thanks.
woa2
I once had a British half ton trailer made in 1945 and I remember this had a rebuild plate on it. Can't tell you any details as I sold it 20 years ago.
Richard Farrant
Hi Ian, If you are depicting a trailer or vehicle as in WW2 period, then you really do not need one of the plates as they were only usually fitted after the re-numbering around 1947-48.
