Dotty Dodge Posted December 30, 2006 Share Posted December 30, 2006 hi karoshi yep went along it was a really good day out. got there about 10.30 there was lots people dressed in 40s clothing and uniform and was really well attended. Went up and down the line on the train a few time which takes about 1 hour to go back and forth. Thank god the weather stayed dry until about 3 i think and then it started to rain. There was a couple of jeeps a jimmy and an civilian 40s car. berni and russ were late arriving overslept :roll: arrived about 12.30 when it started to rain we went alone to the tea dance but was so full we were told we couldn't go in. but we managed to squeeze in eventually. overall a really good day nice to meet up over the xmas period.
