I have just seen this on the Manchester MVT Facebook website is this correct? I thought we (in the UK) had cornered the market for stupid legislation? I'm being flippant not political

To all members who go to events in France.Be aware that its now law that all vehicles must carry a breathalyser. It is a 17 euro fine for a first category offence.

No point in going to France in a car, you won't get in because it will be stuffed with flaming usless compulsory kit! Don't forget snow chains. Surley this is a wind up?

Your AA list is out of date (Jan 2011). Sarkozy has recently announced this new law
