gazzaw Posted December 29, 2011 Share Posted December 29, 2011 (edited) Is it definitely a funeral? the wagon looks like a small stores/baggage wagon and the formation looks more like a parade -perhaps before going off on an expedition or to war etc. The wagon would be draped in union flag and not as tall a tilt as one shown. The mounted officers etc have equipment attached to saddles which wouldn't normally be seen on parades and troops would be wearing black arm bands etc if a funeral.
