airportable Posted May 25, 2011 Share Posted May 25, 2011 A invite had been recieved for a few Military vehicles at the airfield for intrest. It was the weekend for the Golding Barratt Trophy, BAeA Aerobatic competition. At the very last moment had my Landi. back so quickly loaded for a early start Sat. morning. Allways a great place to visit anyway, fantastic food in the tower and a Aircraft recovery group museum in the old huts. A very pleasant day with friends and approx. eight/nine vehicles along with a few cars and motorbikes. Good collection of aircraft in the compertition which had to end I think Sat. afternoon due to high winds. Pity. Putting on a display allways someone to talk to!!
