question Dodge WC in RAF/Army use

Hi folks,

 

now here is a turn up for the books, a Landrover (best 4X4XFar) owner asking about WC series Dodges!!! :wow:

 

A while back, several years ago in fact, I borrowed from my local library a book entitled "Fire By Order" 656 AOP Sqn in Burma"

 

Arrived today , courtesy of ebay, is the self same book. One of the pictures shows a WC 53 (winch?) towing a trailer with a little Auster on it. What, if any, markings were carried by said Dodge?

 

Any body got any ideas at all?

RAMC used KD64's and some WC54's in Korea. 51 and 52 were used in Burma. Have aphoto will post later Dodges are a bit touchy for me just at the moment.
