Mrs Hardyferret
Hi all The other half should get the creature out of its cage for that - especially as its on SLAG home turf. We won't be able to stayfor the whole weekend but will come over for at least some of it. See you there :-D

fv1609
Not been for several years because of clash with GDSF. Do many people go especially on the saturday? Can we just camp in vehicle like we used to? Can we just bring a little bit to sell or are there strict pitch payments?
ashley
Hi Clive, this meet is usually very relaxed and attendance varies though it is usually well attended. Camping (sleeping in vehicles) is the norm for overnight stayers. In the evening there is a road run for those who want to take part , this will have a pub stop :-P  People have sold their extra`s, double`s etc and there are no strict pitch payments In the past there has been a tour of the reserve collection on the sunday morning but i can not give any guarantees for this year. Also German re-enactors set up camp. This has been the generalization in the past Hopefully see you there (bring some sun with you please:) 0 Ashley
fv1609
Ashley. thank you for coming back. If nobody came back then I reckoned it was't worth going. I think I might well hitch up the cipher trailer & head on down considering I retired today I need to unwind  I have a few bits & bobs to dispose of. ashley
Clive, nice to see you this weekend, along with Berni, Ross and Rowan, and hope you enjoyed yourselves. Sorry to say that members of the Dorset Branch of the MVT were very thin on the ground indeed must of been the threat of aqueous solution probable by the Met. office  Anyways thanks to all who arrived with vehicles especially, those from out side the area. Sunday morning was quite active compared to Saturday, until the looming clouds forced a mass packing up session, except for H.K. Dave who tried to fly his tent like a kite :-D Ashley
