Tony B Posted September 25, 2010 Share Posted September 25, 2010 That's the whole point, we have a lot of prestige involved we have told the media when things will happen, we in the boardroom are not prepared to look plonkers if things are late, and not prepared to allow the budget for full testing of say... The Hubble Space Telescope.. or the Large Hadron Collider. Shove it in the water and hope it floats. ArtistsRifles Posted September 25, 2010 Author Share Posted September 25, 2010 Don't forget the bean counter effect - lost count of the times parts were tested to destruction by my previous employers only for the bean counters to change the material spec's to cheaper ones without telling Engineering...
