future event Feb trip to Overloon/Arnhem - what route do people want to go?

Title says it all Folks.

 

Do you want to fly out (Stansted to Amsterdam) - if do then I can do the same as last year and make a group booking.

 

Or would you prefer to travel in vehicles - in which case the routes available are:

 

* Dover - Calais

 

* Dover - Dunkerque

 

* Ramsgate - Ostend

Alternatively - suggest an another option for the route and I'll investigate it. Remember that we need to get every one arriving at the destination at around the same time!!!

What we can also do is simply say "be in Arnhem on saturday around 10:00u" and leave it up to everybody to sort themselves out?

The's a good option too. That way people can make their way by the method of their choice. Those who opt to drive can offer up seats to thos from the ares.

how about tunnel Folkstone to Calais only takes about 35 minutes and they run every half hour

Again it's an option. The cost is higher than a ferry though and I just listed what seemed the cheapest options.

 

From their website the Eurotunnel price for a Friday night departure (23:40) and a Sunday evening return (20:50) is £106 for car + 4 passengers.

If we postpone till after summer - when would be a good time to go that ties in with the Dutch guys free time?? I know I'm tied up most of Oct usually. Other than that and the Remembrance day period I can go anytime.....
