Redherring
I was wondering whether it might be a 4WD. A Duplex? Holes in the chassis sort of match. OshKosh? I'm really sticking my neck out.... Robert
Great War truck
The steel chassis is in remarkable condition. I think it was of much better quality than the WW2 stuff we see. Not four wheel drive. Keep trying.
Runflat
Alan, I am sure you will know? You have the better of me Tim -you'd think that deep cross member would make things obvious. So, how about Kelly Springfield?
Great War truck
Nice try, but it is a licence built Saurer by IMC.

Great War truck
Now how were we going to work that out!? ] With all the knowledgeable people on here I am sure someone would have worked it out in the end. Several early Saurers survive but I think that is the only ex WD IMC built one.

Great War truck
Nash Quad up for sale. Eagle eyed readers will recognise it as the Defresne Quad that was sold in 2014. Currently up for sale in Holland by “Happy Old Iron”
Runflat
And eagle eyed readers will also recognise that the truck in the background half left is a Peugeot. What's that next to it?
Great War truck
Heavy Aviation, but without wheels. There was steel Engineers body for it on the back of something else. All we need is some clever person to match those two items up with the Heavy Aviation which has no drive train but good wheels which is in California and photos of it somewhere else on this thread. Make a great combination. Tricky logistical exercise though.

Redherring
I daresay there are not too many of those (1910?-1914? Delahaye) about. Wonder how much of it is left.
Great War truck
This is just the left overs from the reserve collection. The best stuff is in the museum. There are several sheds just packed full of complete but unrestored vehicles (not hundreds, but an awful lot) and everything that was left over was left outside. All a bit sad really. Redherring
Ah well... if we have something in common... perhaps it is that we just love to work on those tatty units that were left outside... the more for the challenge...
Redherring
Are there any photos that can be posted of this Delahaye?
