  1. A bren carrier is almost alway worth recovering, might not be worth restoring but the suspension parts, wheels, tracks etc. could be use full in other restorations.
  2. Which pump and model did you go for ?
  3. Hi This Autopulse six volt fuel pump was fitted to a Ford cab 11. From what I have been told this was done on early fords destined for the dessert or India. Sadly the cork gasket in it had gone hard srunk and brittle and petrol had leaked in to the selonoide chamber, making it a major fire hazard, lucky the points where submerge in the petrol so nothing could happen. it will be replaced with a SU pump like the one mention earlier

  5. Very impressive restoration and a joy to follow. You dont want to have a Chevy Cab 12 gun tractor to restore next :cool2:

  7. It could look like the seat out of an AEC Dorchester armoured command vehicle or possibly any other of the radio lorries
  8. You are making the rest of us look like snails..... Keep up the good work
  9. I am pretty sure that this one, was at the Militracks event in Overloon in may
  10. Google translate does a "sensible" job of converting it. its with out to much slang, so it gets most things understandable in this article.
  11. wouldnt the trailer have been usefull, then you could take one of your other lorries on the back of it. ?
  12. If its the only WD used Holt 75 left in the world, would there be a chance of it being deemed so significant that the goverment would put an export bar on it. Like it happend with Henry Birkin's blower Bentley
  13. oh that's just nice :yay: are you going to keep in its civilian livery or restore it to navy ?
  14. After a busy spring, mostly playing with Quad, I am now back on the QL.:yay: A replacement engine arrived a couple of months ago together with a set of Scammell tracks. Today I got around to taking the engine apart prior to it going to the machine shop, It needs welding of one cylinder head bolt hole, but otherwise it looks good and much better than the original, fingers crossed. The exhaust valves are abit stuck, would it do any damage to them if I heated the valves guides a bit. I had a bit of an argument with the fourth piston, it did not want to come out easily, but a hammer and a wooden block did the job.
  15. Any use for these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/G691-WHITE-TRUCK-444T-US-ARMY-WW2-TRUCK-INSTRUMENTS-MILITARY-VEHICLE-G691-/252020385732?hash=item3aad95e7c4
  16. Lets just see what happens, if anything is permanently seized or any one convicted. But it was mention in one of the articles that the search was related to this http://www.thelocal.de/20150521/police-discover-hitlers-lost-bronze-horses. and those statues in the garden here looked very much like the ones from the Reichtag.... so the owner might not be without guilt.
  17. I know a guy here in Denmark that is looking for a roof ventilator for his very very early 969.
  18. Here is where it is going http://hmvf.co.uk/forumvb/showthread.php?49794-Hello&highlight=Juggernaut
  19. It sound a bit odd. The armoured vehicles I have seen that has been Demiled has only have had holes cut, so the driver could be shot in case the person went berserk with it or to stop the vehicle. Not cut in half, it could be some one has misunderstod the rules
  20. Would this 1917 International Model G truck have seen wartime service http://www.prewarcar.com/classifieds/ad181323.html
