  3. What tax class would a 1985 Bedford MJ be? and what would it be register as PLG or ? it is downrated to 7.5 tons. I am thinking of buying one and it will need to be registered,mot,plated ect, just trying to work out the costs involed. I have read the plating costs are between £13- 50+,road tax £120-800 and MOT/HGV test £34- 500 + on diffrent pages on the internet its confussing whats is real, the govement pages are just confussing Any tips information would be usefull.   4. I am thinking of buying a MK/MJ which would be the best? It will need to be downrated or derated how easy will this be and what paperwork would be need? If down rated I beleve from reading on here that it would come under the MOT testing and not LGV/HGV testing is this correct? There was one on milweb last week looked very good but was sold very quickly, has anyone on here have one for sale or are thinking of selling one? Alec
  5. Yes Terry is the owner of one, I think it was a driver trainer and was fitted with a cheiftain turret that's been modified to a chally one turret. Big Al
  6. A friend of mine went there a few years ago and had a play! 10 dollers for a full mag with a tomson! when they found out the was from the uk he had offers to shot for free he had agreat time and still talks about it today. Big al

  16. Jack there is one on the show scene owen by John Pearson who is on this forum. The screen is operational and inflats by compressed air, we spent most of last winter getting to work. Big Al
  17. Poptopshed is correct A Mk1 is petrol only, Mk2 is Multfuel which can be run on mixed fuel. Big Al

    The GPMG is a very good machine gun thats why it has not been replaced, I have won shooting competitions with the GPMG when I was in. I to accidedentlly killed a sheep on the breckons, we soon had it down the local butcher and our sgt had fresh Lamb!:-\ Not that these things happend. Big Al
  19. yes it was the one at W&P I looked after it all week for the owner, John pearson and myself had a drive of it in the arena, it was an expriance I will not forget for sometime. Its was with Rex cadmans BARV and Johns valitine along with the friends of the tank museum stuat and ferret. Big Al
