  1. Didnt these have the Villiers Junior engine in them, 98cc?? Same as used in the Welbike I believe. Hows that for sexist.......Giving the Little Lady a little car....AND its soooo cute too:whistle:!!!!
  2. Your EP00 oil is actually a semi fluid grease used in auto lube systems on large plant. It can be used as a gear oil and only comes in 12.5 KG tubs. I have the correct full spec if you need it, but I dont know what effects a mopdern grease / oil will have on your older box as mentioned previous!
  3. I can find you an equivelant make / grade tomorrow you want! Im a hydraulics engineer and can contact my supplier who will cross reference it for me.
  4. theres a local guy a few miles away from me specialises in classic triumphs. always has them in his shop, breaks and repairs them. its called TRUBIKES, in Neston, wirral. think his names John.
  5. I know the guy who bought it and he is returning it back to original. Compliments his other Jeep and trailer!!
  6. Just did that and its BLOOMING SNOWING!!!!!! Dig out me long johns n winter warmers, gonna be a LOOOOONNNNGGG day for me!!!! Dig out me van first!! Not gonna listen to you guys any more........If hadnt of looked out the window I would have been none the wiser.....!:nut:
  7. can you give a name?? I do a lot of work for the fairgrounds that come around, they have local guys for whatever area they are in and i am the North West guy for a lot of them. Might know a few names to get you a back door pass!!!
  8. I have been trying to register as a new member on Maple Leaf with no joy. They are saying that they do not register anymore because of spammers. I have gone through their procedures in the Contacts section twice now with a description of myself (no wonder they wouldnt have me!!!!:-X) and reason why I wish to join but no joy. Anyone else had this problem?? Any way to get registered differently??? Anyone drop a good word with the powers that be....?? I have noticed several members of HMVF on there..................so they cant be that fussy...............:iloveyou::bow::flowers::help:
  9. Thanks.....now im going to have to stop rubbing the stuff on my nuts and give up the sweep business.....!!!! So much for free enterprise!!!:nut:
  10. In the first pic infront of the blue wagon, is that the front of a DUKW, screen and bow or off someting more modern?? Not up on my DUCKS!!!:red:
  11. Im a hydraulics engineer and can confirm the ISO 10w and 15w comment made. Sod all difference in them and the OM is equivelant to an ISO 13. We use mainly ISO 46 and ISO 32 all day long, the 32 goes in the older machines with a bit more wear in them! Dont worry about mixing ATF oil, it mixes with all Hydraulic oil grades. Just because its red doesnt mean its ATF either, JCB put a red dye in their ISO 46 and tell you that you need their "special" oil only and charge you the earth for it!!! LOL I have also seen it in GREEN and BLUE!!!! At the factory they only put ATF in the hydraulics of most Cherry Pickers because of the lower viscocity. Only because they dont know the climate the machines are going to, could be hot or sub zero! We always top the tanks up with HYD 46 (ISO 46) as recommended by NATIONWIDE ACCESS who supply them! Any problems let me know I have a good source for oils and lubes if required.
  12. hello and welcome friend. joined in 2010 and only just surfaced!! think we have a lurker in our midst! lol. where bouts in the NW you from mate?
  13. I get a lot of stuff from one of my suppliers in Lanarkshire and they only charge me £12.50 for a box well heavier than 25 Kg. He uses APC I think!
  14. I could see this working, nice tight fit round the centre spigot OD and out past the holes with good tack welds to hold all together, pulling it all in. A fabricator friend makes new arms and buckets for excavators and has just started using a new type of steel. cant remember what its called but he only needs 1/3 of the thickness for same strength, Welds great and less weight too! He can build an arm for a 20ton excavator using 10mm steel onstead of 30mm!!!!!! Find out the name and post it for everyone.
  15. Yeah, but in the 17th Century we had an Army and Navy.....They could walk right in now and kick our arses with a tin opener and a pea shooter.....Thanks to Government cuts!!!! Maybe we should surrender first, and while they are confused and disorientated we can run away in in victory!!!:cheesy:
