  1. Looks like the Veterans had a good time , and thats a Great thing to do , cant be all that often they get invited out to help with great looking vehicles like these and to has good weather at the same time .

  3. I say since the computer can pick up any publication or document in any listing or group you choose , depending on how you set up the search engine , the paper version should be in number sequence since thats the easiest for humans to sort by.

  5. I ll hope the weather cooperates and isn't too wet or windy , Having tried working outside it basically s**** as my fingers quickly go numb and the wrench slips causing new cuts and bruises . Bad enough having to do the work but to have doing it in winter is worse times 10 . Glad to hear that your going to be toasty while sorting yours out :tup:

  8. Tony B My CCKW353H-1 is currently under going a complete restoration and should be rolling again in a matter of 6-8 months or so. will post pic's when I have them .
  9. The truck you couldn't recall .... the one before the tracked trailer is a White 666 they were built by White ,Corbitt,Brockway,WLF and FWD. I thank you for the Great photo's . I had seen a very few pictures of a few of the individual vehicles but nothing as complete or as nice as the over view that you have done of the layout of all the other vehicles in the collection . THANK YOU for sharing and taking the time to record all the details.

To ease the wear and tear as well as the aching of old bones the Club house will need to invest in either an escalator or elevator as the additional floors are added , perhaps it could use one of the many armoured vehicles drives, those big sprockets look just the part, to power said labour saving devices . cant have those members that had a long night of talk and drink to be found sleeping on the stairs . Something that is sure to cause even more injuries to those descending in the early morning.

  16. I just did a search through google and found that CMV magazine has picked up the rights and publications although a number of issues are no long available thru them the number of those is still small for the moment ! those out of print are issues 6,11,13,73,74,and75
  17. I looked through my collection and have concluded I m missing about half of them....Are they still in print anywhere ? My collection of "After the Battle" is probably worse ,having only only a dozen . At the time both were in production, I like others who regret not getting a certain HMV I too lacked enough spare money to keep my collection complete.
  18. to get more into your disassembly work you really need a plasma torch or if you like gas its a smoke wrench , gas axe or ? what other names do you use for these tools? ;-)

  20. Good point , makes it so easy to "drop " your buddies off after a night doing the Pub crawl !Just need to make sure the tail gate is down then they wont have anything to delay their departure :whistle: :-D ;-)
