    I'd forgotten the DUKWs at Elizabeth Castle. I've no idea what hapned to them, over the years they had pointy fronts added. First MV's I travelled in.

    In Jersey at St Brelade's Bay there were two or more champs used for launching and pushing a rolling jetty about. at the time there was a water sking, para gliding boat operating.

    About sixty ended up in barn in Ver sur mer, finally came to light last year. I've two of them. The funny thing is they are and always have been sand couloured.

    That explains the problem then! Don't know if their coming or going. :idea: Of course the other important factor in a earth strap is surface area. More surface more curent can be coped with.

    Just got hold of Max Hasting's Armageddon, but at six hundred and sixty two pages, a review may be some time. However according to the book, of the 22,000,000 jerrycans shipped to France bettween D-Day and September 1944, half had disappeared. (I do know where two of 'em ended up :cool2:)

    Andy :pfrt: I was working on a new toy to tow bwhind the Dodge! Couldn't use the 'Vehicle' Young Paul disappeared with it all day. The 2 pounder is the Musuem's newt toy. came from Artuillery School at Larkhill and wa sfiring live sheels last year! There is a possibility that it may be seen shooting at some of the shows. Amazing little gun, over enginnered to a fare the well. Three ways of firing, three ways of traverse and the sights are boggling. Pity they were obsolete when introduced.

    I was following a car once, the driver kept his finger in his ear. I was so fascinatied I followed about three miles out of my way to see what he was doing. When I eventualy got close enough to see he appeared to be pulling hair out of his ear with tweezers!. :sweat:

    So that's it Neil mate, we are going to the dogs! :-D I'm not normally a muck and mystery person, I prefer to know why something works, but I have seen fish oil and the copper bracelets make a tremendous diffrence to animals. Of course you can just eat pig concentrate ration, that has a high oil and copper content, and have you ever seen an arthritic pig? :n00b:
